Our Anniversary Celebration Schedule

Here's a breakdown of the fantastic events and activities we've planned for our 50th Anniversary celebration. Get ready to have a blast!

July 25th: Arrival, Pizza & Movie Night

4:00 PM: Check-in to "Anniversary HQ" at 416 Columbus in Sandusky. Settle in, enjoy our game room and make yourself at home.

6:00 ish: Enjoy a fun Make-Your-Own-Pizza and Movie Night with everyone on the lovely deck of our Anniversary HQ!

Pizza Sharing Recommended!

We will furnish pizza ingredients.

FOR IOWA RESIDENTS AND NATIVES:

Pineapple is NOT an approved pizza ingredient! Ewwwwww

July 26th: Lake Erie Adventure

8:00 AM: Woodin Men Make & Serve Breakfast at Anniversary HQ.

10:00 AM: Lake Erie Ferry Ride to Put-In-Bay AND Golf Cart Rental (reservations required, we will purchase tickets in advance).

6:30 PM: Lasagna Dinner (reservation required so we can make enough lasagna and non-lasagna alternative)  at Anniversary HQ.

7:30 PM: Game Night at Anniversary HQ; WARNING - Philip Woodin is ruthless at all variations of UNO. Play at your own risk!

7:30 PM: Bourbon Tasting at Small City Tap House in Sandusky.

July 27th: Thrills & Art Experience Day

Breakfast (Muffins & Fruit)  at Anniversary HQ.

 

Your Choice of Activities:

Full day at Cedar Point Amusement Park (reservation required). We will purchase tickets for the park in advance using a group discount.

Choose to find your inner artist during our "Paint and Sip" time, which we will host at the Anniversary HQ.  Please use the link on the Reservations and Bookings.

You are always welcome to relax at Anniversary HQ, shop at the cool shops, explore Sandusky or spend some beach time.

Cedar Point

On the Lake Erie Shore, Cedar Point is home to major roller coasters and terrific family-friendly adventures.

Some rides at Cedar Point are not for the faint of heart. This photo shows one of the most daring experiences in Cedar Point. There are also many more "tame" things to do and a great selection of family-friendly rides and activities.

Cedar Point is a Six Flags park, and their app is part of the Six Flags app available on the app stores. It will help you find your way around this great park.

Stroller rental and other necessities are available at the "CP Corner Store," which is on-site in Cedar Point Amusement Park.

A Celebratory and Chill Vibe

We want this celebration to be full of joy, laughter, and relaxation. Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, enjoy the company, and create lasting memories in a truly laid-back atmosphere. Dress will be comfortable-casual (it's July in Ohio after all).

To ensure everyone has a great time, some activities require advance reservations with John & Nancy. This helps us purchase tickets using group rates, manage capacities and provide the best experience possible. PLEASE FILL OUT THE SURVEY IN THE "RESERVATION AND BOOKINGS" LINK ON THIS WEBSITE.
