Our Anniversary Celebration Schedule

Here's a breakdown of the fantastic events and activities we've planned for our 50th Anniversary celebration. Get ready to have a blast!

July 25th: Arrival, Pizza & Movie Night

4:00 PM: Check-in to "Anniversary HQ" at 416 Columbus in Sandusky begins. Settle in, enjoy our game room and make yourself at home.

6:00 ish: Enjoy a fun Make-Your-Own-Pizza and Movie Night with everyone!

We will furnish pizza ingredients.

FOR IOWA RESIDENTS AND IOWA NATIVES:

Pineapple is NOT an approved pizza ingredient!

July 26th: Lake Erie Adventure

8:00 AM: Woodin Men Make Breakfast.

10:00 AM: Lake Erie Ferry Ride to Put In Bay (reservation required).

6:30 PM: Lasagna Dinner (reservation required so we can make enough).

7:30 PM: Game Night at Anniversary HQ; WARNING - Philip Woodin is ruthless at all variations of UNO. Play at your own risk!

7:30 PM: Bourbon Tasting Event at Small City Tap House in Sandusky.

July 27th: Thrills & Art Experience Day

Full day at Cedar Point Amusement Park (reservation required). See below for more Cedar Point Information.

Cedar Point

On the Lake Erie Shore, Cedar Point is home to major roller coasters and terrific family-friendly adventures.

Some rides at Cedar Point are not for the faint of heart. This photo shows one of the most daring experiences in Cedar Point. There are also many more "tame" things to do and a great selection of family-friendly rides and activities.

Since Cedar Point is a Six Flags park, their app is part of the Six Flags app which is available on the app stores. It will help you find your way around this great park.

Stroller rental and other necessities are available at the CP Corner Store.

If super roller coasters are not "your thing," give our "Paint and Sip" experience a try.  PLEASE indicate to John & Nancy that you want to participate in Paint and Sip in the registration survey.

Sandusky's Inspired Souls Studio specializes in group paint events FOR PAINTERS WITH NO EXPERIENCE. Whether you have only painted walls, by number or with fingers, the studio experience will guide each of us to create a take-home product in a very satisfying way.

A Celebratory and Chill Vibe

We want this celebration to be full of joy, laughter, and relaxation. Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, enjoy the company, and create lasting memories in a truly laid-back atmosphere. Dress will be comfort-casual (it's July in Ohio after all).

Activities REQUIRING Reservations

To ensure everyone has a great time, purchase tickets with group rates and for logistical planning, some activities require advance reservations with John & Nancy.
