Welcome to John & Nancy's 50th Anniversary Celebration! Get ready for a joyful gathering at our Sandusky property where we'll sleep, make pizza, eat, watch movies, and enjoy each other's company. This page has all the details you need for a memorable visit.

Our Sandusky Home Away from Home

The Sandusky property ("Anniversary HQ" at 416 Columbus Avenue) is where all the magic happens! It's our central hub for sleeping, delicious pizza dinner, fun movie night, lasagna dinner, game night, and enjoying each other's company. We've prepared a comfortable space for everyone to relax and make lasting memories during John & Nancy's 50th Anniversary Celebration. Our Host, Mary, lives next door. She is lovely and we have invited her to join us for our Make-Your-Own-Pizza.

Celebration Schedule & Activities

Here's a brief glimpse of the exciting activities we have planned for our anniversary celebration:

Saturday, July 25: 4:00 PM check-in, followed by a delicious "Make-Your-Own" pizza dinner and a fun movie night.
Sunday, July 26: The Woodin Men will make breakfast, then we'll enjoy a ferry trip to Put In Bay. Lunch (in Put In Bay) on your own. John & Nancy recommend The Boathouse Bar & Grill with an outdoor table. We will cap the day off with lasagna and game night at the Anniversary HQ.
Monday, July 27: Choose your adventure! Some will head to Cedar Point Amusement Park, while others can enjoy a Sandusky "Paint and Sip" experience along with quaint shopping. Lunch on your own. Dinner on your own if you are at Cedar Point or with the group at Anniversary HQ.
Tuesday, July 28: Check out is at 10:00 AM. Breakfast will be donuts or something quick and easy. Feel free to hang around the Sandusky area, but we need to be out of Anniversary HQ by 10: AM.

Your Visit

To ensure you have the most enjoyable visit, please keep the following in mind:

Bedding and towels: No need to pack them – bedding and towels will be provided for your comfort.
Travel plans: Please communicate your "To Sandusky" travel plans with us so we can coordinate arrivals and departures and assist with any airport transportation.
Sandusky is a nice tourist destination, AND there are stores (Kroger at 226 East Perkins Ave & Meijer at 4702 Milan Road) which will have what you forget to bring.
Please remember sun screen and other necessary travel protections.
Side trip preferences: Let us know if you have any preferences for side trips or activities beyond the main schedule. Please don't feel that you HAVE to participate with everything the group is doing.
